What if YOU were the orphan? What would YOU want someone to do on your behalf? Here's our adoption story and why we need you to consider partnering with us.
We desperately need your donations to partner with us to bring hope to the life of one little girl.
.....and GUESS WHAT? We now have 2 amazing friends who together will match your donation dollar for dollar up to $5,000 when you donate via check or credit/debit card through our fundraising site.... www.lifeabitsweeter.com
Please don't delay. There's a little girl counting on all of us to be her voice of redemption. Please don't forget to share our video link with your family and friends! We'll keep you updated via our blog as our partner, Lifesong for Orphans, sends us our donation totals throughout the week.
Much love!

Love to you all.

Why Ethiopia? Why not other countries in Africa? If the aim is to help the children; don't you think helping them in their own community is better?
beautiful video...can't wait to share it...You are so well spoken....Stay focused on God's calling on your life...Only the enemy would place "negativity" in your path...God loves you and your future child....Such a great video..wow... Can't wait to see that baby girl in your family, kristi
Hi Anonymous! Thanks so much for your thought-provoking question. Ethiopia is where God has really drawn our family to....why, He would choose that for us...I don't have all the answers yet but perhaps time will tell.
I totally agree with you. It is so important to help children within their community. Because I was adopted, adoption is very dear to my heart; however, please know that this is just the beginning for our family. We believe that our next steps after the adoption is to create opportunities and resources for women and children specifically in Ethiopia. Where God leads us next...in Ethiopia...outside of Ethiopia...in the USA, we're honestly not quite sure. We're just trying to take it one step at a time and be obedient to the call as we receive it. Hope that answers your question. I also have more info about Why Ethiopia/International Adoption in our blog page here: http://lifeabitsweeter.blogspot.com/p/why-international-adoption_21.html
Thanks again for your thoughts and questions!
Thanks Melissa & Kristi! I have so appreciated the two of you being in our corner and encouraging us along the way in this faith journey.

Thanks Rebekka! Still lovin' the blog my dear!
Love your hearts and desire to walk in obedience to the Lord's leading. We have adopted several children and are presently adopting from Ethiopia for the second time. Please speak to your agency regarding openly soliciting donations or fundraising for your adoption via the WWW as this is prohibited/frowned upon by ET regulation and has, in the passed, ended in a family being denied permission to adopt in Ethiopia.
Thanks anonymous for your comment, concern, and advice. I'm checking in with our adoption agency again as you suggested. Thanks so much for visiting our blog! Greatly appreciated.
